Looking across the expanse of water, I detect a subtle movement in the distance. The unmistakable rolling back of a porpoise, like a dark wheel gently turning in the water. This is just one of many animals that can be seen around the coast here. We also spot seals peering curiously at us from the water, puffins landing with a graceless plop on the coastline, and storm petrels soaring overhead.
