Baroness Neuberger (My Green Life, Issue 277) is woefully misinformed about Canada: I know, I live there. The right-wing Harper Conservative government has dismantled almost everything that we have accomplished environmentally in this country for the past two decades. It has also blocked international treaties on climate change, and has just withdrawn from the UN Conference on Desertification.
